A few weeks back we had Andy's family over to break in the "new" house. We've been so busy the past few months we were really missing everyone and it's always a good time when we're all together. I got to make a nice dinner, we drank some nice wine and the kiddies had a blast just running all over the place all afternoon and they even joined in with us for some karaoke later in the evening!
I also thought it would be fun to buy a big Costo birthday cake since it was going to be Caitie's, Andy's and cousin Richard's upcoming birthdays. Everybody thought I was nuts since my plan was to put 93 candles on the cake for their combined ages and of course one for good luck! Well, I did, and the smoke alarm went off three times and it was hilarious! At least now we know it works!
