Well we parked our selves on the couch yesterday afternoon to watch the highly anticipated final game of the Olympics. What a game it was! I have to say that having this time at home gave me the opportunity to really take an interest in the games this year! I did shed many a tear over medals being won and not. It's really truly amazing how well our country did this year, as did others of course.
I have to say, last night's game was truly an amazing game for both teams, although our fellow neighbors did not get the final score, what an effort! Both teams played so well and it was really down to the wire!
Since we were all decked out in our patriotic gear, it was the perfect opportunity to get some shots in (who am I kidding, there's always opportunity and I've always got the camera close by!).
So congrats to all of the athletes this year! Such great devotion, effort and inspiration. Who knows, maybe one day that will be our children out there!
My parents also gave us a wonderful night off and kept the girlies Saturday night for us so we could recoop a little and get some much needed rest! Andy inevitably caught my flu and was totally out of commission along with me! Thanks Nana and Poppy!

In our house, the main man was sad the U.S. lost, but we both agreed that if we had to lose, we would want to lose to Canada ~ it was a special moment indeed!
