Flashback Friday

The last year had turned out to be such a crazy and busy year that took on a life of it's own. I made the resolution this year to do some major blog catching up. This of course meaning that I have to post many pictures from the past year's or so events. Even though it is past the fact, I am trying to keep creating and adding to this journal. I really love adding to my blog and also reading and sharing stories with bloggy friends!

So today I'm doing a flashback from Caitlin's first day of school this year, I didn't get as many as last year since she had to go into the big yard this year like a big Grade 1'er! So heartbreaking how fast my girls are growing up, but on the other hand, they are learning so much and developing who they are as individuals and we are also so fortunate and lucky to have such a great school for Caitlin and a wonderful daycare for Maddie that was also great with Caitlin.

Here is a picture of my "big" baby girl on her first day of Grade 1, and whether she liked it or not the mamarrazzi was there to get a shot (a very quick one, okay it was three to be exact!).

They had this sign up to great the children in the school yard

Oh gosh....this was pure fun to see!

I love this idea of flashback Friday, especially since I've been more remiss on snapping pics. the past couple of week! (where oh where is Spring??) :)

Your daughter is just lovely and she looks SO proud to be a first grader!

Our girls are the same age/grade and oh yes, these years do seem to melt by!

I'm gonna have to go peek at Lauren's first day pics now....thank you for the happy reminder of days past!

She is so precious Jen! Isn't it crazy how quickly they grow. It scares me : ) I think she looks so excited in her first grade picture! : ) What a cutie!
