So the summer has just flown by, I actually don't even know where it went! Today is Caitlin's last day of camp. We're not quite sure what to do with her next week since school only starts the week after. We have a few great people who have offered to take her for a day or two so I think we may be okay, she'll just be shuffled around a bit since we have to work.
Since she is starting the first grade this year, which is mindblowing and scary at the same time, I thought I'd post a few pics from her first day in Kindergarden last year.

I'm so nervous for this year...the first year in Kindergarden, she had one day in english and one day in french, being that we live in a french province, they learn it very young. Now starting this year, she will have only french for the next three years and then back to bilingual, plus spanish.
Caitlin is not looking forward to the french only, she already hated her french days last year. She does understand and speak it, but I will have to keep teaching her to read and write in english at home so that when she starts grade four, she will know both and hopefully have no difficulty.
Hope you all have a good weekend and that your little one's first days of school were great!

Holy moly! I can't believe she knows French, English and Spanish. That is amazing! I hope she has a great year in First Grade! Where do the years go?!
Cute! They do grow up quickly in just one year!
You know, I don't know why in CA, they start school so early. They do finish early too. Students spend less time in school compare to Montreal. Maybe that is why we graduate a year earlier. ;)
Oh! I have an award for you on my blog! :)
