I haven't posted any pictures from our quick getaway yet because to be honest, there really aren't any! We actually opted to leave the camera in our room most of the time since it was really a weekend to just getaway.
We truly did just getaway from everything and it was great! I can't actually say that we missed the girls too much...only when we heard their voices on the phone! They were in good hands with my mom and dad and I knew they were having a ball. Nana took them shopping and they were able to get themselves a few things with gift cards they got from Aunty Doris and she took them to the Hannah Montana movie, bless her heart! I don't know how my mom pulls off everything she does but her help is so appreciated when she has the time.
So the weather was nice in Vegas, we got to do some great shopping and bring back goodies for the girls from Osh Kosh, Gymboree and please let us not forget the Disney Store! Man that place is awesome, and an outlet, even better!
We had a nice dinner out and saw the Cirque de Soleil show. The next night we stopped into this great fish and chip place at the NY NY where we stayed last time and then checked out the dueling piano show there, that was sooo funny!
The short break to ourselves was great and just enough time to relax for a bit and enjoy each other and just what I wanted for Andy on his bday! We couldn't have left the girls for any longer!
We had this couple walking by take our picture since we are never in any together!

What a fun weekend getaway! Isn't it great to have someone that you totally trust with your kids so you can do that once in awhile? My mom is like that too!

What a perfect weekend getaway! Cory and I honeymooned in Vegas almost eight years ago and we had sooooo much fun! We had a blast at the piano bar at NY, NY! Cute picture too!
