Almost there, but not quite...

So it's been almost a month since my last update...I still don't have my pics ready to post since at the moment I'm not really sure where my camera has been relocated to, and I'm sure wherever that may be, there's no doubt it's covered in dust just like everything else in the house!

So things have been majorly progressing...we've finished the bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. The bedrooms are all finished. We took a walk on the wild side with ours, but I'll save the surprise for the photos when I post them. We've turned Caitlin's room into an enchanted princess room and got her a new bedroom set complete with a desk and a hutch, she's so happy.

We moved into a hotel for three days last week, after spending the day at the hospital with Maddie being rehydrated on an iv for eight hours. She caught a severe gastro just before it was time to move out to get the floors done. She's back to being her adorable happy little self now though, thank goodness!

The kitchen, well....we are STILL waiting for the cabinets to be finished. Everything else in there is done. The countertops are installed and I've got a sink and running water in there again plus dishwasher, yay!

The living room was painted at well and we got a new wall unit in there. The hallway is the last thing to be painted other than the basement which got damage during the whole flood catastrophy, but the walls have been replaced and ready for paint so that shouldn't be a big deal.

All of the doors have been replaced except for two which needed to be adjusted a bit so those should come on Monday as well as the kitchen cabinets, hopefully! So by next weekend I'm desperately hoping to have our home back!! I am totally loving our new appliances and can't wait to start cooking again! Lisa, I may be needing some fancy new recipes!
