New Beginnings!

So it's been a really crazy hectic last year of our lives! I'm looking at 2009 not only as a new year but a new beginning for us. We ended the year with a heavy heart and void that can never be filled after losing our beloved Mum. Although we can never replace her and will always hold her in our hearts and our daily thoughts, I really felt we needed to somewhat move on as well as start over where our lives left off. We've kind of been living in this clouded world ever since although still dealing with our reality.

So, I've already been talking about the renovations we've been and are currently undergoing. I do promise to post pics very soon, I just really have not had the chance. At the moment, we don't have a kitchen or an upstairs bathroom. My fridge is in the living room and I have to wash dishes in the bathroom pedestal sink in the basement, quite the challenge I must say! It's been interesting though, it's sort of like camping, only indoors and we still have our beds to sleep in!

Andy has just been amazing though and the work is coming along really quick. I was so happy when I got home on Friday and the wood was down on the kitchen floor and the walls were up and the lights were installed, I could see progress! He really is awesome and I am so lucky and fortunate to have such a talented and able hubby!

On another note, I must send a HUGE thank you out to Jennifer, who designed and set up my new blog layout for me! I've wanted to revamp it for some time now and I'm just so design challenged and have never made the time to go through with it. She is so talented and sweet and I love the end result!
