Water, Snow and Trees!

It's been a while since my last post but things have been very hectic! Two weeks ago, when I pulled the plug from the tub after the girls' bath, it emptied in the basement! Turned out our main out take drain was clogged from the roots from the tree on our front lawn! The plumbers unclogged it and that was solved. We still had the water damage to deal with though. We also had company coming that weekend to stay! I basically told them to bring their swimming shoes!

It was Andy's last week of work for the winter and he had planned on redoing the bathroom in the basement the following week anyhow, so we didn't bother hooking the plumbing back up down there. Well it's been a really busy two weeks and the walls are back up, the floor and walls are tiled and grouted and the final plumbing is being done today. Thank god for my handy hubby!! It looks great but the mess from the reno doesn't! I don't have the faintest idea how I'm going to get it all cleaned up and ready for xmas yet but I can say I will be very busy in hypermode tomorrow!! Speaking of trees, I can't even access mine at the moment so that will have to be found and put up tonight in time for Santa!!

Here are our xmas pics and card for this year. Speaking of which, I ordered our cards last month in time to get them out for xmas. They were only ready on Monday...and they came out terrible!! Madison didn't even look human, like somebody painted her face whiter than possible with black holes for eyes and Caitlin's hair was black! So I rushed home and did the best I could and off to the one hour rescue at Costco and Voila! Hope you all have a great holiday!!
