The Cat's Meow...With a Bit of Fairy Dust

So I finally got my pics downloaded off the camera, a whole 690 of them, just in time to reload it with my highly anticipated upcoming vacation ones! I'll start by posting a few from my promised new Halloween ones.

The weather turned out great for the little ones and it was a great night. Of course, how could it not have been with all the loot of candies filling up the pumpkins over and over again!
Maddie wasn't too thrilled when her costume was first put on in the morning, even though she'd been putting it on over and over again crawling around meowing for the past few weeks. Don't know what the deal was with that once the actual day to wear it was upon us, but there aren't always answers for the unexplainable.
Caitie was the perfect little fairy for school and Sleeping Beauty by night since it was still too chilly to sport costume number one for the evening outside. The park near our house gets totally into halloween, with a haunted house and fireworks to boot. Caitlin was a bit dissapointed that by the time we made our way to the haunted house it was too late to go in but she was thrilled that she knew the police woman manning the line from a safety presentation given at her school. Madison wasn't very fond of the fireworks and chose to run as far away as possible!

This is our centerpiece at the moment, curtosy of Caitlin's efforts in decorating these little pumpkins with pumpkins and gords she got on her school outing to the local market and her bat and spider she also made at school.

We're so excited, candy time!
