Deceptively Delicious

For all of us out there who have picky eaters and who ARE picky eaters, myself included, I HATE vegetables, I have this great new book to recommend. It's called Deceptively Delicious, by Jessica Seinfeld. I'm sure you've all heard about it but I actually got it for xmas, by request, and I have to say the recipes are good. Of course we could all use our imaginations and throw veggie mush in different things, but this is a good way to get you started in deceiving your little ones, and your husband (and yourself!).

I've tried the banana bread (with cauliflower), can't even taste it and it's really good, the lemon blueberry muffins (with squash), hamburgers (with cauliflower), pink pancakes (with beet), pancakes (with sweet potatoe) and some really not so good chocolate chip muffins (with pumpkin & squash). Five out of six isn't that bad and it's got ME eating not so bad either!

I made hamburgers teh other week and first thing out of Danny's mouth, "is there something in here" there wasn't but i should have just to see if he would notice. He has "warned" me to never put that mush in his food!
