Viva Las Vegas!

Had a nice time on our trip to Vegas. It was kind of weird to not have the girls with us but the break from them was well warranted. By the last night, we even lost track of time and forgot to call them (oops, such terrible parents we are!).

What can I say about Vegas? It's Vegas baby! Everything is HUGE, there's a TON of walking to do and the grandeur of everything is really incredible. It took us a while to get used to the time change, if we ever really did. We gained three hours there and woke up at 3:30 AM to find that nothing ever really stops there! The name "Sin City" really describes the town for the sake that it really is all about partying and gambling (oh, and sex). You get hooker cards every few steps you take, not a great town for kids!

We tried to see as much as we could in such little time there. Have to say the wedding was the FUNNIEST wedding we've ever seen (how often do you get to say that?) and a big CONGRATS to Ian and Arianna! (Can't wait to see the DVD)

We also met and had a blast hanging out with some nice new friends (Mike & Jess) which is always fun since we lead such a busy social life, NOT! The drinks (LOVE Fat Tuesday Dacquiris!) and laughs were fun to have, even if we had to go across the continent to get them!

It was a cool place to see. Don't know if I'd return, although if I did, it would be in the warmer months for sure!
