Tis the season

So we're finally back to home sweet home. Had a really busy holiday this year. Started off with a pre-xmas visit to TO to see Gramma for her bday on the 21st. I don't ever look forward to the 8 hour drive but seeing as we went straight from work and I slept most of the way with the girls, it wasn't that bad for me (poor Andy had to play chauffer). Let's not talk about the day drive home in the pouring rain and my two girls who refuse to sleep!!

The visit started off with our usual visit to Fantasy Fair with the girls and my cousin Juanita and her new baby girl Sofia in tow. What a beautiful little girl, we also made sure that she'll already remember me as the aunt that caused her pain since we got her ears pierced while there and she only had smiling me to stare at as the piercing pain was shot through her ears, poor thing. She looked very cute though and once the comfort of mommy set in and the pain dulled all was well, just hope she doesn't remember that moment forever and remember me as the bad auntie with the pyscho smile!

From there we were off to my brother in laws for mother in law's bday dinner, eats and company were great and the girls have a new best friend to visit at Uncle Jamie's and Auntie Emma's, there little furry girl, Tika the dog.

Off to the Sesame Street show on Saturday with the girls and Auntie Emma, bonding time for the boys and amusement in the friendly neighborhood for us girls. Great show and totally ready for a nap afterwards. Then home Sunday and ready for xmas!
