Busy busy busy

Well looks like Jack Frost has arrived. Snow is slowly arriving and all the Christmas cheer of running around like mad trying to get all of your presents before the real rush begins. I'm slowly getting my shopping done, I'm done for the girls anyway. Now we just have to get our asses over to the passport office and get our new ones in time for our Vegas trip in oh, less than five weeks!

New news, is that Andy's mom is handling her b-cancer like a mighty champion with a really great and positive attitude, one that I could only hope to have in her shoes and then we got the most amazing news that the cancer has not spread and is already shrinking due to treatments, so that is wonderful and a huge weight lifted. She's also sporting some really cute and sexy new wigs since losing her hair and has lost almost 25 pounds and if I may say so, is looking mighty fine!

So other than being extremely busy at work lately and preparing for our back to back holiday trips to TO then home, then Vegas we had a successfull surprise 60th bday dinner for my dad. Friends and family came from all around and it was great to see everyone as well as his surprise! Speaking of bdays, a big thank you to all my bday wishes. It was really nice to hear "happy bday" from those who weren't reminded and remembered, we won't mention any names! (er, umm, my husband! as usual!) It's pretty pathetic when you're at the grocery store at 8:00 at night paying for your own cake that you just had them write "Happy Birthday Mommy" on for yourself! Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you have kids and it's not about YOU anymore and they want to come to "Mommy's party" and blow out your candles (we won't say how many!) with you, as Caitie insisted! Well at least her wish came true, and it was obvious that mine didn't when she was still awake at 9:00pm!
