Had a great day out with the "girls" two weeks ago. I figured with Caitlin's upcoming operation I wanted her to do something fun since she would be cooped up recovering for a while afterwards, so called Tania and off to apple picking we went (a first for all of us!).
It was a beautiful day and as it turned out, it was also the first official apple picking day so we had great choice. The kids had a great time and loved sampling the apples more than picking them, but that's okay, that made it all the more fun. Madison was the pro at sampling and then helping me fill up the bags with "one bite" apples! Caitie had a ball with her friend Melissa and Meagan was an apple eating pro as well!
Once we finished lunch we were off to a reptile museum across the street where Tania added a new addition "Diva" (a snake) to her family. My girls (or me) aren't brave enough for that, we'll stick to apples!
