Day at the Beach

We had a great day at Oka Beach two weeks ago. It was really Caitlin's first day at the beach she actually remembers and truly Madison's first. Andy was finally not working for a change and we had a bday party to attend for the girl's cousin Lucas who turned one!

Fun was had by all and a great family day. Caitlin was like a fish in water and collected lots of shells to show off to her friends at school while Madison really wasn't too sure what to make of the water and sand squishing in between her toes, she loved the fact that she could play in the sand and not be told "no, no" for the mess she was making!

Got lots of great pics and Caitie got her first taste of a little sunburn, oops! Not that we're bad parents or anything (shh!), we just didn't reapply to her face soon enough and of course she refused to wear her hat! She'll know better next time!

Anyhoo, was really impressed with the beach and had never gone in all my years living here, but will definitely go again soon!
